    Default Another LEO J out.

I just want to report my first confirmed LEO J out. He was coming at me firing CO Ka. I was getting great range as we inched along in traffic, and at the stop light. It was near a big mall with 2-4 K band "falses". It didn't J out the LEO until I was within 200 or so feet of him. There was a whole lot of other traffic between us. If anyone wants more info just ask. I'm not complaining or anything, I love my V1. I just wanted to let everyone know. I'm really wishing that there was a way to turn off the J out feature.

got a j out yesterday evening. it was a leo, but i did get him from almost 2 miles away. it junked him out when i got a first blip of his I/O, but it re-picked him up and alerted me to him. fun part was he was on the toll road parallel to me and it was through trees and buildings. i was simply amazed!

I swear the V1 has alien technology in it. Why do you guys think it J'd him out when I was so close? Overload from close proximity Ka antenna?

More likely there was a Crapra in close proximity and your V1 mistakenly matched its harmonics with the LEO's Ka and junked it out.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Very possible, I see so many Cobras in M. Ville where I was at.

everytime i get a j out i will scan every car i see for a crapra... since i was at a stop light when it happened, i got a good look at the opposing traffic. no crapra's to be found. not more than a few seconds later, i got another solid hit when he blasted i/o again.

I know it happens. I was just documenting another time. Maybe we'll have it happen enough that VR will let us turn it off...

Hey! Why was I singled out?

It was likely the presence of a Cobra that caused the V1 to conclude that the harmonics matched. As with EVERY filtering algorithm there's tradeoffs made between erring on the side of caution or alerting at everything.

That's all I will say otherwise I will apparently be the spokesperson of J-outs...
