If any detector has the chance at advance laser warning via a passive countermeasure, it's the V1.

yawn, shooting laser in a room with high reflection advantage is not the ideal test... let's see if u get same reflection when a cop shoots someone ahead of you... i dont think that happens.

hey my remote changes tv channel when i point it to the roof.... got my point.

This is the ideal test and the results speak for themselves.

i am sure v1 is the best at laser detection, the above video is more of a gimmick. i wonder if some-one tried the same with other detectors?

    X2^

i agree totally. it warns you in such a definite unquestionable way that it just might give you a chance without a jammer if the pig didnt get you instantly and provided you werent really flying.

i have my V1 since before last Xmas and it has never missed a hit. in fact i have picked up scatter twice with it. one was from a rear laser trap on the opposite side of a dual carriageway when i could not have been the target 6 weeks ago and again last saturday when i was hit first but when the pig aimed at a car way behind me i got another alert and i was near him at the time

absolutely unreal. none of my previous RDs could have come close and im sure they both missed hits in the past. even when i do get them to alert its not a clear siren alert like a V1. rather a voice alert that gives you no chance as its takes too long to hear it out.

my V1 hasnt missed any of 6 different hits i have gotten since i bought it and some were very close range. so close i had turned my LPP off just in case i might get noticed

im not knocking any other RDs here but this works a charm for me and i have no falses in my area or anywhere else to date thankfully so i would definitely recommend this one to anybody.

the REAL issue is by the time you get that alert your speed has already
been reported to the officer !

goes back to my suggestion that you should avoid running in the left
<passing> lane and you need to keep someone in front of you...let the
guy infront of you take the hit <and MAYBE just MAYBE youll get some
kinda early warning from someone ELSE getting hit w/ laser>

the BEST part about laser is that its STATIONARY ONLY...cop has
to be sitting still...sure they can hide behind the bushes (in residential
areas thats more likely)...but on the interstate...if you see car
sitting on the shoulder of the road ('specially if its in the fast lane)
you better confirm what it is before you speed up.

if you also notice...the "scope" on that gun has a very very small
area of focus...when using these OLDER BIG laser guns most of the
cops cant hold it steady enough for long enough...so they
end up using car doors, roof or some other part of the car to steady
the gun...which means theyre even easier to see.
