i like the mount but when u park make sure to take the v1 down because in that position it is very visible to a thief
Did you buy that mount or did you make it?
It doesn't look very level.
its level the pictures make it look unlevel so does the rearview and the mount was made by someone else.....and also it easily comes down so i take it down whenever i go somewhere so theives cant get to it
good! nothin worse than a stolen v1....well maybe stolen car with the v1 in it
^agreed
I agree with the above... looks very nice... just make sure it is level (though I know pics often skew things a bit, I'm sure you got it level if you say so).
Also, its easier to take pics in the day... a few of those with any personal info blurred (LP and such if they are in the pic) would be a nice edition.
It looks very nice and clean, my only problem with below the RVM mounting, is anyone behind you who is curious can have a look at your $400 investment... even LEO's. I prefer mine not to be able to be seen from behind.
lol..ill try and take more pics of behind to show the levelness...but yeah as far as people can see behind its very true...and again i do lock it up everytime i go to the mall and whatnot...and as far as leos...i dont do nothing wrong so why would them seeing the radar be a problem?...
Spent a lot of money on a radar detector for someone who doesn't do anything wrong. (Never speed huh?)Originally Posted by GreeKNastY

To be honest though, you will find that just having the unit garners LEO's attention when behind you, which is something you want to avoid for the most part. (Some users on here have even had LEO's come up behind them and flick their radar-units on/off just to mess with them, since they see the RD when parked behind them.)
