What does the I function do?

Anyone know what the I setting does on the v1 3.825?

I? I think that's the option I had on 3.813 and VR told me it was some kind of "factory test." When I tried it my non-POP V1 said "POP" on startup. Can't imagine what it would be doing on 3.825.

I called VR, and they told me that it was somthing they do internally there. It has no specific purpose fo rus.
