I've been reading here for a while now, and did some searching but I didn't find an answer to this question.
I have a V1. It's the latest version, direct from the website. I've had it about two months now, and sometimes, when traveling on the interstate, I will get extremely short range with C/O ka. It always occurs when I'm traveling one direction on the interstate (north) and the LEO is going south. I may get 10 seconds of warning and a very quick ramp up before I see him. I understand that KA is pretty directional, but I've had situations happen where a LEO has been sitting in the median, firing I/O at the other side of the road, and I still get rear alerts when I'm a half mile away. With that in mind, it seems like the V1 is functioning correctly.
Is what I described above same lane radar? If not, what could be the case for the short range? Also, should I be concerned about same lane radar if he's on the other side of the road?
Thanks guys. I couldn't find a post similar to this.
