Default Do I need the V1 hardwire kit or can I get it at Radio Shack

I just bought a V1 on Craigslist. It does not come with the hardwire kit. Do I need to order the "Direct-wire power adapter" from V1 or is there something I can pick up from the local hardware store or Radio Shack?

You can make one from telephone line at RS, but they don't have carry them if that makes any sense.....

You have to buy the box that converts from phone to standard dc black and red wires. If the V1 doesnt come with a hardwire phone cord, you need one, bout 8-10' and obviously you can get that from radio shack but make sure it's higher end. I've heard of them not working if they are the cheap kind.
