    Default programing in the UK.

well guys i finally ordered a V1 after a month or so looking on the bay for a cheap one. running the serial check i get
Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser with just one exception—it lacks POP Protection. Of interest to those who drive in Europe, the latest V1 version also has a Euro Mode.
so allthough it isnt fully up to date for what works out at $100 im not complaining. it should be here tomorrow and i just hope its in good working condition.

quick question, what settings would it be best on? afaik over here they use KU and K and of course laser alot. from what i undertsand k falseing can be annoying so how is best to cut the falses down? would it be best to leave Ka and X on incase it is used over here if falseing on those bands doesnt happen alot? anything else i should know about?
    TIA,
    MJ.

Not related, however I will be booking my flight to Manchester for September. I can't wait to drive over there. I should buy some V1's and sell them over the pond. I will bring at least one RD over. I am so excited. I would love to pick up a KU!

RD's arn't as big over here as other the pond Ck so you may have trouble shifting expensive V1's unless you find anyone who is seriously interested in them.

RMP: what are the Ku alerts from - handheld radar? - if thats used over here? would i be right in thinking that the gatsos operate on K band? hows your V1 set up - have you found any real threats that were operating on X or Ka or is it just Ku and K over here as posted on one of the stickys? sorry about all the questions
    TIA,

    TIA,

    I have K, Ku & laser on.

I've run in to Ku a far bit around the Manchester area and they are mostly
small tripoded camera's or sticking out of the back of Volvo estates.

I've seen K band in most of the UK and it's normally found where you wont expect it.
Lake District is a popular location for it.

My mum works for the police and she knows a lot of the Traffic police and they have said they are slowing moving back to radar over laser due to a lot of people going for things like road angel etc with laser detection.

Which area are you in ?

I will be over for a couple weeks. I can not wait! I wish I was going to see Ricky fight. I went to the two before this past one. I was christened in Dunham. I have to get a rd that has ku.

watch out for the vans as the V1 might not pick them up

I love the old A55, luvly fast road, but you can go to fast there.

I have come across K band on the south side of Llanrwst on the way to Betws-y-coed.
