Are these "bad" locations for concealed display?

When I get mine, it will be in the gauge cluster set far back so in my line of site but not easily seen from outside the car.

I had only a few options with my CD placement, I went with a mount on the dash backed up to the A-pillar. It's just in the right place for me. If I could have recessed it into the dash somewhere I would have.

Since I took this picture I have relocated it about 3 inches to the left and have faced it towards myslef better. It never gets glare, especialy with my door windows tinted 20%.

Mine is attached with double sided tape in a position that, on your vehicle, would be just above your speedometer under the instrument panel hood. BTW, my Garmin Nuvi is mounted about where your concealed display is located.

I suppose you don't put the CD away since you mount it with double sided tape. Aren't you risking a break in when you car is unattended?
