    all bogeys!

Try loser and big Loser mode, in town, see how you like it. What is your location and what kind of radars do you find?

Is X band used at all where you drive? If not, keep it in L mode.

If X is used, use small-L or big-L in town and A on the highway.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

I thought Logic and Advanced Logic modes were supposed to reduce alert threshold for x-band. Well, mine doesn't. Not at all. It doesn't change the number of lights on the signal strength meter either. Very annoying. I think something is wrong with my unit in that regard (that, plus the ghosting, i.e., one cop with gun giving a counter of 2 or 3)

Default affect of L mode on x-band alerting

Thanks...I kept up with that thread as it was being posted, as it was a topic that I felt an interest in due to what I mentioned above. But, I've tried experimenting, by parking in various locations where I get a weak x-band alert, and then cycling thru A, l and L to see if there's any difference in either audio volume or signal strength, and I can discern no difference. Now, I can understand that it uses an assumably complex algorithm and as such, may not always attenuate the alert for all x signals depending on the signal itself and the parameters the algorithm uses. However, I've checked it out in various locations, so one would assume that at least in one of the locations I tried, I would notice, at least once, where L mode made a difference in comparison to A mode..but I haven't seen it. Maybe others can post as to whether they definately notice a reduction in x band alerting? I don't notice any difference in all the various locations I encounter x bands driving my normal route to and from work. One day I'll drive in A mode, and they next in L mode, and I see absolutely no difference.

Do others note that they can clearly see a reduction in x-band alerts and or signal strength in L vs. A mode? Please "pipe in" if so. Thanks.
Sorry if I've hijacked this thread....perhaps bad etiquette on my part...

If you are in Puerto Rico, all you have to do is turn off the X-band and Laser detection. It is not used. I should know. I live in Mayaguez.
