    Turning off X-band is the first thing I've done on the V1 since I got it. It isn't used in my area so there's no need to have it.

    Yes in N.J. they still shoot X Band I think... Be careful if you ever go down the NJ turnpike on I95.

    Out of MA, NH, CT, NY, the only X band listed is the Suffolk County hwy patrol. I'm in NH and I turned off X.
