Was doing 10-15 over on I-275 northbound (70 PSL) near the Canton/Ypsilanti exit at dusk. I was complacent and stupid enough to be on the left lane. It was in the middle of nowhere with some cars in front acting as rabbits. Then suddenly my V1 gave LIDAR alert. Low and behold there was a biker LEO in the median at only 500-700ft away. So I slammed on the brakes and immediately pulled to the middle lane. I thought he got me already as I saw him tightening the strap on his helmet and ready to take off. I kept at PSL for the next 2-3 miles and expected to be pulled any minute but nothing happened. I then made a U-turn to check him out as I've never encountered LIDAR before but he already had a customer. So that was a close call and I was very lucky today.
P.S. Should I get Veil as I never felt more vulnerable until now after my first LIDAR encounter?
