    You should be looking for as new of a V1 as you can find. Only versions 3.821 and higher have 'Euro Mode.'

    What you should know about Euro Mode

    Do you know anybody going to the USA for a holiday soon ?

    if so ask if they will bring it back if order it to be delivered to their hotel.

    Get a new one but get it from V1 and see if somebody on the board would post it to you.

    I got my current V1 last September while on holiday. I have the current -1 software and it works great in the UK.

    Indie - last time I checked there was guys selling them to the UK on the bay. Brand new units - fully up to date and only about 30 quid more than buying them from VR. I don't see why the ones coming from Germany are always so expensive?

    I always thought for UK use you turned POP and Euro mode off anyway..

    I think I still have Pop on on mine

    couldn't be bothered switching it off.

    and it's better to buy the from V1 and get it shipped over via maybe somebody ont he board due to the exchange rate being good for us
    at the moment.

    From what I have read on here, yes. Aparently it saves on falses;
    Euro Mode narrows and intensifies radar coverage, and limits it to K band plus the sections of Ka bands used in Europe for photo radar.

    We don't have Ka over here so it may aswell be off. You only need K, Ku and Laser on.

    Still by all means leave it on if you wish, I don't supose It would do any harm.

    Theres a few people over in the US advertising them on the bay to the UK market S70 so you will still get the exchange rate. Have a look for kchardee on the bay. 225 + 15 p+p.
