I tested my V1 (3.864) against 2 Multanova 6F speed cameras (Ka 34.3). The Northbound camera was on the opposite side of the road, pointing with my direction of travel. The Southbound camera was pointing at the front of my car - against direction of travel. The two cameras were pointing, more or less, at each other.
The V1 failed to differentiate between the two signals and the bogey count remained at 1 for the entire alert period. When the V1 was directly between the 2 cameras, the arrows pointed to the side with 1 bogey still being indicated. (when clearly there was radar hitting the front and rear antennae)
Does this mean that the cameras were so in tune that the V1 could not differentiate between the two signals?
If this is the case, does this occur commonly with normal radar as well??? (Doesn't seem to with microwave door openers!!!)
I believe that the V1 was in Advanced Logic mode in this video, but was also tested in Euro mode, Logic Mode and All Bogies mode with the same result.
