I only drove home from work with the 3.871 unit and that's a 6 mile drive on surface streets.

Good news is that my wife and I are headed to Vegas this week so I will bring this unit with me and give a full report when I get back.

Does that sound fair? If anyone is in L.A. and wants to see this just PM me.

It did seem to pick up convenience store doors at the same locations as the 3.864's I have.

Remember I have ONLY had experience with V1 for less than a week.

The trip to Vegas should be a good test. I have all the default settings on the unit turned on.

This is good for V1, but i am a tad bit irritated that I just got my V1 last week and now it's not the latest and greatest.

LOL, I know how you feel.

I drop beaucoup bucks on a couple of brand new ones, and the used unit I send in to get updated comes back with newer guts!

Hahaha. At least they (V1) are making changes and hopeful improvements.

3.864 --> 3.871 is a pretty healthy jump in rev.
