Ok, let me cut to the chase. The V1 laser alert false too much, but I have not seen anyone doing some simple modification to reduce the laser false.
I'm a vivid photographer and I know how IR filter works for doing some Infared photography. Now, we know for a fact that the lidar measurement device is within 904nm spec.
How about using the 900nm IR filter to mount in front of the receiver lens to reduce the unwanted 850nm~899nm IR wavelength?
The second option is to buy a tinted window film and mask in front of the V1 lens in order to reduce the unwanted wavelength. I have seen someone mount the unit high, behind the blue tinted windshield, does reduce the laser false. Is the second option fesasible?
Please focus on this topic here, because I know parking sensor works best.
