A V1 in a Saturn... you could do like I did. Get a concealed display and a visor pouch, and use the hardwire kit to do a Stealth V1 Install.

In a low car like the Saturn, mounting as high as possible is a good thing.

Welcome to the dark side young Jedi!
Well after this last weekends test with my V1's I can say there was NO difference in detection distance no matter where I mounted it and that included with laser.

But I personally mount my high above the mirror for stealth purposes.

Where did you get the visor pouch. What did you have to do. I was planning on mounting it on the visor. So any ideas?

I got my pouch at Wally World a few years ago, but auto parts stores probably have them too.

Basically what I did is, I cut holes in the pouch for the front and rear laser sensors (no need to expose the radar sensors, as radar will pass through the pouch). I also cut a hole for the power cord. I ran the hardwire power cord from under the dash (where I tapped into accessory power), up the windshield pillar, under the headliner, and out where the visor is. I put my concealed display in a nook above my aftermarket stereo, but you could put it wherever you like.

I also stitched the pouch in a spot next to the V1 to keep it from sliding around inside the pouch.

That's basically all there is to it. As long as you expose the laser sensors, everything should work fine. Of course, if you have a jammer and don't care about the V1 detecting laser, you could get by without cutting any holes other than for the wire.

Just make sure your pouch has a non-metallic zipper. Metal reflects radar, so it could affect the V1's sensitivity.

My question about the visor mount for you guys is this, what do you do if you need to use the visor? Even if you mount it on the passenger side what about your passengers?
Sunglasses do help but sometimes you need that visor.

I can still flip my visor down with the V1 pouch on it.

I lose much of V1's functionality in that position, but I rarely use the visor anyway. I use sunglasses instead if possible.

Was the visor pouch one long zipper pocket and you stiched it in the middle? Also xband is not used in my area. Mainly K, and Ka band. What do i need to do to maximize sensitivity?

You got it. One or two small stitches in the middle to hold the V1 in place, and I also stitched near the zipper so that the pouch would lie flat against the rear laser sensor, so it isn't blocked.
