    Default Laser Falsing?

Just curious I have 3.821 still waiting to upgrade to 3.825... Over this past weekend for the first time I started getting laser falses. All in all over the course of the weekend I got 5 total. Each time I looked around / looking for a trailer blazer nodda, junk detector *none I could see*. I was just curious the blinder never went off and its working just fine so I'm curious. maybe its the altenator going bad on the EVO?

anyone else get a steady laser false with the v1? i've owned mine since may and this is the first weekend I can ever note this happening. never in the same area always in random places on the highway or in BelAir, MD.

    thans for zee help!

Mine only falses in EZ Pass toll booths, when I encounter an Infiniti SUV with laser cruise control (the most common laser false), when behind an older Trailblazer/Envoy with the neon brakelight (haven't had this happen in over a year), and sometimes when an ambulance approaches with strobes on.

I've heard of V1s falsing when using the windshield washer while driving toward the sun. I haven't had this happen either (recently at least).

Keep an eye on it, if it keeps doing it, maybe something's wrong with your car's electrical system, or your V1.

Low voltage will cause laser falsing on a V1. Also, if you live near a military airport you can get falsing off the radar every 9-10 seconds. V1 can do an Airport mod to reduce but not eliminate this falsing.

There's something on an I30 dash that causes my 3.825 to false. I have no clue what it is.

The only time I have gotten a continuous laser false was from driving in front of an Infiniti FX35. The FX and possibly other Infinitis has a laser-guided cruise control option. I guess the laser runs constantly since it plays a part in other safety features.

Will a jammer engage the cruise control transponder in any fashion?

I wonder that myself, especially after someone recently reported that an Infiniti's cruise triggered their rear Blinder.

I wonder how the laser cruise responds to being jammed. Ideally, it should disengage the cruise, but what if it doesn't? Could it lead to an accident, if the driver isn't paying attention? I can see the lawsuits now. I just hope it doesn't lead to jammers being made illegal. Maybe we could petition to make laser cruise controls illegal.

lets see if Jimbonzz can get some inflo he works for Chevy

I'm willing to bet those laser cruise systems send out a huge beam not a small refined beam found in laser guns. meaning now matter how much you try and jam it not gonna happen. but I dunno! I think it would be funny if someone was trying to use it and everytime they engaged it, then it would cut off because of a jammer 8)

It probably jams the ProLaser III already
