UAE what are you talking about?

I only posted one time in this thread, and I simply said HIS (the threads starters V1) is working like it should and his friends is most likely out of tune... I'd sure be willing to bet both of those statements are most likely true?

I never said anything about any Belscort products let alone any specific Belscort products? Especially not a STi (which I only ever recommend in areas where RD's are illegal)? I CERTAINLY did not saying anything at all regarding the sensitivity of a 9500/STi vs V1?

I think maybe you misunderstood my post?
The only part one could misconstrue as being anything related to Belscort is the phrase: 'most' RD users have to deal with falses', which is true. Personally I don't because I always use two detectors, one for the city (Belscort), and the V1 on the highway where 'false' alarms are few and far between for the most part... so thats what I meant, but yeah the 9500's could also be added in.

Why don't you come to where I live, and in my state with your V1? You want to see a detector (ANY detector) be owned by (Ka) radar, bring it over here with you, and we will go for a full day on I-81 and I-90 against troopers, and I bet with how selective their I/O use is: You will be appalled at how ineffective RD's (ALL RD's) are against troopers I/O. RD's are (very) effective countermeasures against the occasional C/O that (primarily older) troopers use...

I have nothing against you and agree with many of your points (not a huge STi fan either)... but I don't see how anything in my original post was 'war starting' material?

I'll second that. I've driven ALL over this country and several others, and still think those areas are the most challenging (especially I-81 north of I-90 to the border, where CB is no help either due to large separation of N/S lanes). There are just too many "good" hiding spots, and the LEOs there (NYSP AND locals) sure know how to use them to their greatest advantage.

I think the Bel STi-R is the absolute best option for dealing with your 34.3Ka problem, with its selectable Ka band segments. Your alert distances would probably be outrageous. You would have lots of K band false alerts however, worse than your V1.

Hello

You mean Bel Sti-R will give me more false warning on K band ?

I thought only V1 has alot of false K alarm

OK since you are expert guys, what if i use Cheeta Mirror for V1 ?

can i Lock K false alarm with no harm?

AirMoore i think i mixed up , sorry pal

Nope, every RD but a 9500i/ix/ci will false alert on K band.

No, but you can stop false alarms under a certain speed, like make the V1 be quiet if your vehicle is less than 40kph or something like that. That would help some.[/quote]
