Is this ghosting?

There's a K speed sign near my house. I drive past it everyday. My 3.863 used to show 1 bogey and now it shows 2. Is this ghosting?

Everytime, under all circumstances? Is this reproducible, or just what happened the last time you passed it?

Yes, it's reproducible. It showed 2 the last time I past it and made me slow down as I thought there was a LEO out there using the speed sign as a shield.

It is possible to be ghosting and ghosting does not happen all the time. It is also possible that some carppy RD was around. It can go both ways. V1 is not immune to ghosting even with the newest version. VR has acknowledge it that the technology is not 100% perfect but IMO better than escort's multiple bogey technology.

Yeah, if it is reproducible, and happening everytime, regardless of the surrounding traffic, then it is not ghosting. Unless your RD is just going south on you, there has to be some external interference causing the second signal.
