V1 startup?

I know this is a weird questions, but how many beeps are involved in the startup sequence on the v1? I have an rx65 on my bike with an amplified radar screamer, and I am sick and tired of listening to 11 beeps every time I turn my bike on. Thanks.

The V1 display upon start-up will change depending on your settings...



Turn your RX65 settings to 'FST' start-up this bypasses the lengthy start-up; beeping and chirping... no reason to replace the detector, you just have to learn to use its features mate.

Why simply don't you switch Power-On Sequence in your RX65 to FAST?

Yeah, I actually have it turned to fast startup, and it still beeps 11 times every time I turn it on. It still has a sequence of tells to go through, such as "x off," and it drives me nuts coming through my radar screamer. But if the V1 beeps 4 times, that may still not do...

5 or 6 on startup of my V1 before adjusting it (beginning, you can watch it in the upper right hand corner)

I was adjusting my V1s setting earlier tonight, there is a shut off self test feature, I'm not sure if that kills the startup beeps or not.

2-4 beeps is fine. That is about what I am looking for. I want to know that it turns on, but I don't want the whole neighborhood to look at me when I pull out of my garage. The radar screamer chirps like an alarm for each beep you see. So I would say 5 beeps max would be acceptable.

The 9500ix has only one beep at startup.
