    Default what to use to clean off fingerprints from the lens.

    Hi I wanna know what can i use to clean off fingerprints on the lens. Can I use windex to clean the lens. Or what else do you guys use.

    Micro fiber cloth. Works great for finger prints. They are used and supplied to wipe my HP Touchsmart LCD screen and my iphone.

    It's the cloth that comes with your Oakley glasses and etc. That may work though. Just haven't tried it.

    how about some good old 99% pure isopropyl alcohol, use a little on a cotton ball.

    ^ Er, you mean isopropyl alcohol. 90% pure is good enough.

    I assume that the common 70% iso would work fine too.

    I wouldn't use that because it contains too much water and it leaves stains. I can find 99% pure right next to the 70% pure at any drug store.

    I would just use an eyeglass cloth and maybe a little water. I would not use alcohol, it can take the print off the lenses.

    ha!...That's what I use for cleaning my V1 and cellphone display,works great!
    Oakley's cloth baggy for sunglasses is also great for wiping off greassy fingerprints.
