Speak for yourself, my programming keeps my V1 pretty silent, and hasn't failed me yet.

Trapster is great as a collaborative effort. However, camera locations are only part of the GPS equation in the 9500-series RDs. Varying RD sensitivity based on GPS-speed is not something Trapster can accomplish. To get a similar functionality, you would need to purchase a Cheetah GPSMirror/C100 plus the V1 adapter in addition to the V1. Also, Trapster doesn't allow to you mark your own special locations "on the fly" as do the 9500 series detectors. Just something to think about.

I dont know, its been working pretty good so far.
We had a few more cameras put in by the local casino and I was messing with it and it alerted me half a mile away, you can set it up to 1 mile and down to 1/10th of a mile.
So far its been working flawlessly and users can mark their own location that goes into a database and other users get the location automatically.
