Today I was driving to work after running some errands and was trying not to be late, was doing about 12 mph over the PSL, and got a KA warning at I think 3 LEDs from the rear (arrows rock!) I slowed down to PSL thinking there is a cop behind me. I kept driving and the LEDs started going up, I can't remember how far it got up to, but I would guestimate it at anywhere between 6 and 8 LEDs, jumping back and fourth around there.
My questions are, I got a few side arrows, and even a foward facing arrow a few times. I even thought that it may have been a cobra user at first because I couldn't see the cop, but after thinking about it, I know it wasn't as I have never gotton a signal that strong from a cobra user, and when the car I thought was using the cobra came by, my arrows still seemed to be pegged to the rear with jumps to the side and front ( and it turned out to be a GPS in his windshield). Am I right in assuming that the reason I got some side arrows and even a front arrows is the radar bouncing around off the wall and maybe even the cars driving on my side and exit signs and over passes that I was driving past? How stong of a signal have you guys ever gotton from a cobra? How fast does it go away? Anytime I've had a signal from a cobra it goes away pretty quick.
I actually have some video of it, but it's pretty crappy since it was taken with my cell phone while I was driving, looking for my exit, and trying not to swerve because I think a cop is behind me. I can post it, but I don't really feel like going through it all. I never saw the cop, and I was looking so either he was pretty far back in traffic, had a car with low mounted lights, or was unmarked. I really wanted to pull off into the median to see how far back he was and what he was driving, but I didn't want to be late for work. Any thoughts on my encounter???
