You are just setting yourself up for the risk of BOTH detectors becoming deaf to some spectrum of radar. There is no proof that any detectors can be run together. Sure the risk is much lower if one is up in the grill and the other is on the windshield but two windshield units? IMO that's recklessly crazy.
And just because the STI isn't detectable doesn't mean it won't leak or interfere with another detector -- it just means the leakage of the STI is not unique enough to make an identification as a radar detector.
Personally, I wouldn't run any two detectors together. period.
Living on the edge lol
REB is running 2 together, I wonder if he is having any problems? I do know one is a SRX, so the antenna is in the front area.
The problem is, without debugging (JTAG or some other way of looking at current state) access into either detector, none of us can REALLY know if there is interference. And there are expensive and inconvenient ways of discovering the truth that'll end up making you feel pretty silly

I ran my V1 and my 9500i testing performance and I didnt see any difference at all.
They were about 20 inches apart and they would alert at the same spot every time.
Didn't matter the configuration, meaning which was on or which wasn't at the time.
Now I am running my V1 with a 9500ix doing some testing and its pretty much the same thing.
I did notice one thing though, I had to turn pop off on both in order to stop false from both RDs, but its not like I need pop anyways.

X2. Although I have never run a V1 vs. another, I can say that running a v995 vs. a v940 did cause noticeable issues. I would imagine that the same would be the case between a V1 and any other detector. Not a good idea in comparative terms.

The V1 and the STi seem to play very well together. I cannot say the same for the 985 though. Running the V1 and 985 together causes intermittent X band falses on the V1. The V1 will miss 35.5 Ka alerts altogether, and the 985 will miss some K band alerts altogether when you run them together. I have not seen these things happen with the STi and the V1.

My SR7 has been running with my V1 for well over a year now. I run them everyday in that configuration and haven't noticed anything peculiar. It's possible the V1 could be suppressing the SR7's detection range, but I think it's more likely the new Valentine is a superior detector to the old SR7.

That does not surprise me about the 985, my 960 had poor shielding and my cell would set off X on it.
I am wondering about running 2 Belscorts together (windshield Units) which I think will cause problems.
As for a V1 and (newer) belscorts I am more curious about.

As I stated above. Running a v995 and v940 did cause interference issues as well as detection range supression on both to various degrees. Not a good idea.
