Default Real Test of the Arrows

Last night I was driving a highway that gives off few falses. I was picking up a strong X band (used by state troopers) As I approached the signal got really strong with a front arrow, then all of the sudden it shifted to the rear arrow. I was wondering did I pass a cop sitting on the side or was he driving in the opposite direction?

probably opposite direction. If he was sitting on the side then you probably would have saw him. And how strong was the signal? Do you think its a false

100% sure of a real threat. I know this road very well. Too dark too see cop. I have a feeling he was driving in the opposite direction. But I am curious, say if he was on the side of the road, would the side arrow light up briefly?

more than likely than him passing you. Because your doing 60 his way and he's doing 60 your way. If he was on the side you probably would have gotten the side arrow but coming the opposite way more than likely not.

But I've used the valentine for only a couple thousand miles so I can't give you a really good opinion so hopefully somebody will confirm what i said

Probably was coming at you. Usually then you even get the side arrow but it is brief. If he was sitting the side arrow would have been on longer but still just a second or so.

Say the V1 is annoying or desensitizes you all you want. At least it gives you warning of threats....instead of ignoring them like Truelock. At least the V1 gives you the opportunity to ignore them yourself. As opposed to deciding FOR YOU mistakenly that its not a threat as you drive around cluelessly. Silence is more dangerous than racket. One has a chance of failure, one guarantee's it.
