I'm definitely going to get this mod. I'll just order a full unit and keep the stock one as a back-up or for my other car.
This is absolutely great.
Not sure why VR did not get around to making this an option ... but...
the good ol' American ingenuity and supply and demand are at work here.
I like the logic involved in being able to tell at a glance what you are being probed with. I drove home with my detector last night and the remote display idea is great.
Another thing is the ability to tell the strength of the signal that is zapping u at a glance.I will drive around a bit and see what my mind is able to process at a glance. I'll prolly go with 2 or 3 colors only for quick ID of sig strength.
Any new modifications/ or ideas on the Concealed Display after 2 years experiences on it?
will you ship the modified Concealed Display to Hong Kong ?
I saw a listing in ebay on the same item with same modification but costs $90 vs a brand new, $40, would you mind tell me what a price you are costing me.
I sure like the idea - but I find as time goes on, I find myself going by the audio and not looking at it so much anymore - but that's just me - still I like the idea.
