Well a friend called and asked to borrow the V-1 to drive from AR-GA. Being that it is hard wired I did not let him. Well guess what! He went and borrowed a COBRA! I warned him on the phone. "DO NOT TRUST IT"! Any bets if he gets a ticket? Tried to explain that Cobra it crap and do not speed thinking he will detect in time. O well tried.

you know these cobra people are all the same. Early today my new coworker me and him where talking about radar detectors, and i was like yea so i payed 420 dollars for my b1, and he was like what how can you pay 420 for a rader detector. Then he said i would pay onlu 200 dollars for a cobra, and i just started to laugh and said alright do what ever you want.

If you ever wan to loan it or use in a loaner or rental, you can unplug the hardwire and still use the lighter plug and wire while leaving the hardwire in place. I always carry the lighter plug and wire in my glove compartment so I'm always prepaired to use my V1 in another car or if my hardwire fails.

Why? The friend has at least these two options:
1. Drive the PSL or less.
2. Do his own due diligence and realize that the Cobra isn't worth touching.
