V1 saves day yet again....

V1 saved the day yet again. I was traveling back into town after setting up shop for the AlpineInvatational. I was doing roughly 95mph in a posted 55mph zone. The speed then droped to a 25mph zone thus was at 95 in 25mph zone. V1 alerted Ka red arrow to the front. I immediately matted the Slam my face through the windsheild peddle. Cut my speed to 32 to 25 in a 25. To my amazment I was saved! I looked up the roadway after coming over a hill to see a county Leo running CO 35.5ghz Ka radar. As he approached the intersection he didn't give me any further look and put on his blinker and rounded the corner. To my dismay and pleasure I skated and made it to the meeting location for the Invatational. I think this goes down in my books of the best "Radar" save i've had to date. Ofcourse NMA's 2.9 miles of constant on K band on the X-50 was supurb although this was simply amazing.

Might have been Gto i'm not sure. He came from straight through the light though? Unless maybe the Leo you encountered turned by Mcyd's and the circled and then came back straight at me? IDK. It could have maybe of been. I'm not sure though they come through the area alot, so I guess we'll never know? All I know is, I'm glad I picked him up GTO . I was kind of wondering where my warning was though at the time from NMA if he had drove past the meeting location. .... Then again he might not have and I found out later NMA was washing his ride so... No biggy. I was just thinking man if NMA woulda had on his CB that would have been handy. Then again I bet NMA wasn't thinking he had to be on his game every second lol.

Thats what I was thinking hey and best of all it's a Legit story .

Although he seems to enjoy the story more though if persay a 8500 user or x-50 user was behind me and passed me and got nabbed, and I slowed and evaded him. Then again Mr. Valentine used to work for Cincinnati Microwave, thus that makes sense I guess LOL? Then again, I know a guy that helped him design the first Passport and worked with Mr. Valentine, and knows him personally. I got a kick out of seeing his 4600 escort. I'm sure Jim knows why I got such a chuckle out of his 4600 LOL.. Not the best Ka detector in the world.

But ya a vest would be nice.

as i have said before...got my license april 2nd, got my v1 april 5th. not tickets..18 year old in a car that can do 160mph..i drive pretty much however i want cuz of Mike V...well i still have a license cuz of Mike V
