That looks like NCHP (North Carolina).

X band is still used in Indiana and NJ too, though more often in NJ. IMPD (Indy) has a Decatur MV-715 X band radar, and it has a lot higher output power than that weak K-55 LOL! They'll use it for awhile then put it away. Just when you think they've quit using it, they bring it back out.

We all turn X band off so if cops got smart they'd bust out the old X band guns and they'd have at least a week of tickets galore. (X is on on my V1, but off on my Cheetah.)

Well i dotn know about "EVERYONE", I have it on since Ohio still runs alot of X Band, but youre right, if some LEOs in areas that haven't had X in ages busted out those old X Band guns there would be some seriously upset RD users for at least a week while word spread.

They could put em away again in like 2 weeks or so, then all the RD users would be too paranoid to turn X band off again and will put up with all the annoying falses for years.

You're right. On my commute to work (mostly highway) there's literally X band falses 90% of the way. It's awesome...

Luckily, on my way to work (depending on which way I go) theres only 1 really bad X band false. Its at a large post office, i get about 6 X band bogeys in all directions for about a quarter mile. Then one small one close to work and thats it. Thats too bad youve got so many, i feel for ya man.

I got a full strength X band alert for about 10 secs on I-80 in Ohio. There was nothing around to be falses, but I couldn't spot a cop.

I had a similar encounter while passing a semi on I-90, needless to say, I did a nose dive. Even though it's X, who knows right?
