it had to happen some time - my v1 setup has to go. i am being transferred to virginia and cant afford a sti. so i guess its off to ebay. im really gonna miss the remote display and audio control. it was almost habit now to reach down and bump it to mute and not even take my eyes off the road. well - i guess the sti will have to do for now - oh what will i do without those arrows. Goodbye old friend.

I am sure will selling on ebay your V1 and all the accessories you can get upwards of $380+ if you agree to ship internationally and that will certainly get you close to the amount of money need for an STi

You could take your chances running the V1... I think its only a $100 ticket if you get caught running a RD in VA.

I agree with Rob though, you could get a good chunk, if not all the money you need for an STi by selling your V1 and its accessories.

Not very good chances. It doesn't take much to bust the V1 with an RDD.

i actually thought about trying it but i was stopped once up there last year and just managed to snatch it down before getting pulled over. Luckily i had a trailer behind the truck and he couldnt see me do it. the officer kinda looked at me funny and grinned but didnt say anything. he said one of my trailer lights was out. Yeah right. anyway it scared me too much to try again. what i really hate is that im not gonna get anything for my V1. ive got the entire setup (3.826) with remote display, remote audio control, carrying case, etc. maybe i'll get about 400 for everything and it'll pay for the sti cause right now with the move and everything i can hardly afford to buy the gas to even get there. even worse - my company wont reimburse me for the move. it was either that or collect unemployment. with the unemployment rate here in georgia being 7% i figured it was a no brainer.

Again, you might be surprised how much you can get from the V1... its resale value is great.

Yeah, it sounds like you made the right choice. It really does suck that your company won't compensate you for the move.

u can get a used STi off ebay in the mid 300's...id then drop the $60 and send it back to bel for the ramp up fix...also buy it from a private seller
