    Default Newbie with Multible Saves

I have had my V! for less then a month and took a trip to Upstate NY this weekend and was less then 3 miles from home & had a save from a LEO with radar, went thru MA and nothing but once I hit NY they were everywhere running radar, I had a minimum of 6 saves at a range of up to 1.5 miles. No laser hits or saves as of yet......

Every radar contact is not a save, is it?

No. Although everyones definition is different depending on enforcement strategies and tolerance. Generally on freeways I define a save as 15 over the posted limit where any action to reduce speed was prompted by an alert from a countermeasure.

Well if that's the case I had 3 saves from the CVS tonight. I consider it a save if I am 12 or more over here in GA, but that's me. I guess everyone has their own definition.

Also depends on who is was, local LEO's have to give you 10, but GSP does not have to give you anything. No fine 1-5 though so at a minimum you would have to be 6 over for the GSP to bother you.

Well as I was doing mostly 80-85 in a 55 or 65 I would consider them saves as they were usually siting either in the median or in a U-turn spot. They all had constant on but no instant on. A guy with a snowmobile in the bed of his p/u went by me and got picked off.

Don't get too confident in NY, most will be running Ka C/O then theres that one lone wolf out there with a IO or a laser gun and youre toast.
