I don't have any LCD screens in the car.
Do you have a non-factory car stereo? Some car stereo manufacturers the brightness of their car stereo illumation by frequency modulating the displays. This can cause the rear laser sensor on RDs to continuously or nearly continuously go off like what you are describing. Some car manufacturers do the same thing with the illumination for their dash lighting too. Oh yeah, on any cell phone, make sure that any built-in IR connectivity is turned off.
Why don't you try this, since you getting allot of rear false laser alerts, put a piece of electrical tape over the rear laser sensor. This way you will know if something is wrong with the detector if it still alerts(then you can just send it for repair), if the alerts stop then you should remove the tape and continue to look for the external source of the falses.
That's a good idea. Where's the rear laser sensor on the device?

Also I think that is platinum on the board, unlike belscort that uses gold. I think they use platinum because it's the most noble metal available.
