Default thanks to Mike V for V1 superb Laser sensitivy.

I was just having a little fun with my v1 and my sister rx65. I was trying to set then of on laser with my remont control. Suprisinling the v1 alerted to laser on all 5 remote controls that I had 100% of the time. Where as the rx65 never alerted once. Even suprising is I got out my car and went about couple feet out in front of my car and the v1 still alreated to laser.

So I just wanted to thank Mike V on making the V1 so sensitive on All Bands

Red neon signs will trip a V1 whereas the Bel/Escort models will automatically filter out 60Hz signals from neon signs. The V1 is extremely sensitive to laser though.

Remember to thank him when you are going 85 in a 65 and you get a laser false from a trailblazers brake-lights... thus causing a minor heart-attack... be sure to play it equal and thank him then too.

It is good that the V1 is so sensitive, but mehhh, on laser: Its still worthless in my book, and all other RD's are just THAT MUCH MORE worthless against laser (if that is possible).

It sucks... trust many V1 users who have had such things happen. In all honesty though... the V1 dominates laser sensitivity, so its a trade off that Mike made when he designed his unit.

Thanks V1 on the go! I am glad that you like my reviews.

So far and overall I am enjoying using DJ's V1. The only thing which I really hate about the V1 so far is its really bright arrows. A cop can see them darn things from a mile away! Now I have figured out why most owners buy the remote display.

Sometime this week I will be fully disassembling DJ's V1 so that I can shoot photos of all of its internal components -- including what is inside the V1's horn assembly since I and many other people are really curious!

I'm not sure I'm as curious as everyone else. Somebody hold me!
