V1 vs STI

I saw the article from radartest.com on the V1 vs STI


Does anyone have both, how would you compare?

V1 is better on X and K band, though the STi is surprisingly good on X band.
V1 is better on 33.8 Ka, they are equal on 34.7, and the STi is a little better
on 35.5 Ka. V1 has the arrows and STi has stealth. They are both very good and either one will serve you very well.

I have both. Love the V1 over the STi for the arrows alone.

Yep, that sums it up pretty well although the STi with the new audio ramp-up fix (at least mine anyways) nearly matches the V1 on K band. Sometimes its so close that there is virtually no difference.

I believe V1 is also better on 35.5 Ka for straight but not Off-Axis.

I'm curious if newer STI's have better sensitivity? The CI rocks and uses the same antenna, just would make sense.

Being devils advocate here(we know GOL is the most trust worthy). But for the average unknowing person what real proof is there that one source is unbiased over the other?
One shows Belscort #1 all the time and the other always shows V1 #1 all the time.

No matter what the testing, and by who, the final decision is up to the user and all testing should be held with a grain of salt. The best testing is always done by the user to make there own decision. The tests by all just give us the basis to narrow down the choices.
No matter who's testing its always: V1, STI, 9500, 8500, RX65, GX65 in the top slots and you cant go wrong with any of them.

go with the v1 unless you live in VA. From my driving experiences the V1 is more sensetive on Laser, K,X, ka 33.8,34.7.
