Seriously, GPS is the deal, and he can't use it unless he makes MAJOR advancements to it, and I don't foresee that happening.

The housing is perfect. Mike V. spent billions of dollars (And some rumors say hundreds of lives) during the development of the V1.

The housing is machined from a solid billet of special magnesiun selinium molybnum alloy which adds 146% more detection range over the competitors. It's not painted black. It's that color throughout the metal due to the rigid molecular bond of the alloys atoms and the process used to inject nitrogen gas into the units case during final testing.

The angled display is also a carefully researched design feature. During testing the scientists at VR discovered that the simple act of looking at the rear facing horn causes a slight torsion of the chronosynclastic doppler infundibulum. This shift can actually decrease the performance of the rear horn ever so slightly. No other RD has this feature because no other RD has a rear facing horn.

The LEDs are also a point of contention among many uneducated RD enthusiasts. They may look out dated but one must remember that the V1 is the ONLY RD flight qualified by NASA for ALL extravehicular activities. Do you really want to trust your safety to a display that may or may not survive the rigors of space travel? I didn't think so...

Really? Then how come the paint on mine is flaking off?

The breakdown of ink used in cheap gay porn can emit a vapor which leads to an outgassing of the alloy. This can LOOK like paint flaking.

VR is aware of the problem but concluded that most V1 users don't look at gay pornography so no redesign is warranted for such a small demographic.

I would suggest that you store your V1 away from your magazines.
