Default V1 detecting Mercedes Benz S-Class

Driving on a road a regularly drive on I have my radar detector constantly going of for the longest time with the signal strength constant. I catch up and pass a new model s-class and the arrows point back. That car was giving of some serious signals. Anyone else experience this?

These Mercedes set off my 9500s at about 24.220GHz. With spec display, they are quickly identified.

Ads I saw the first generation adaptive cruise controls on the MB ran about 300’, the second generation were advertised about 500’. Now the parking and bind spot radars. That’s like three radar sources (?).

Won’t know if the V1 is ghosting or you got a MB nearby, and I thought the Infiniti’s were a pain.

Was it K or KA band? I got a KA today, right next to a Benz, only 3 dots though at closest range.

Weak Ka band alerts from cars are usually leaky satellite radio antennas.

Man so much extra harmful interference I'll say. Why do they feel the need to interfear w/ our rds?

Theoretically they are FM-CW and POP OFF should filter it out. Well we all have to share K-band. It's either that or laser, and laser has the disadvantage that it becomes jammed in poor weather.

That explains why I was getting random K falses in the middle of nowhere at 24.2GHz.
