Default First confirmed I/O encounter this AM (two saves)

It was just yesterday that I was saying the saves with my V1 are so frequent I've lost interest in reporting them...but this AM was great.

I don't normally drive in to work in the dark...since I usually drag my @ss out of bed around 0700 or after...but this AM I was out the door by 0615. The last time I drove in to work in the morning darkness I had a great save as well. It seems they like hiding in the dark with no lights on in the early AM.

I've been hit before with what I wondered was I/O but couldnt really tell for sure. This AM I rounded a corner on a road about 5min from my house, and as I did I picked a short low alert of K band with a forward arrow. I know its a completely wooded area with no chance of automatic doors, so 100/1 there was a cop somewhere. But as I straightened out from the corner, the alert disappeared. About 1/4 mile up on the right is another main road off the road I was on, and I assumed I just caught scatter from a LEO taking this turn and now he was heading away from me. But obviously I stayed slow anyway. Then BAM...full on blaring K band alert again with a forward arrow. In the pitch dark of early morning, with no other cars around, on a straight away, in a wooded area, its pretty hard to not know it's I/O. You also know it's YOU he's targeting and noone else. The alert dropped off for a second and I saw him. Hiding on the opposite side of the road with no lights on facing me. As I passed him he hit me again with his rear I/O (not sure if they shoot I/O front and back at the same time or not). There was no way to see this guy in a wooded area in the pitch dark hiding off to the side facing me. It was an awesome save especially having the arrows point out where he was hiding since I couldnt see him in the dark till I was passing him. It would've been hard to argue if he pulled me over, there was noone else around me on the road.

Then about 15min later on a main road/highway I got a couple scattered blips of K band with a forward arrow. The exact moment I received the alert, another car in the slow lane ahead of me (old man in a station wagon) hit his breaks immediately and slowed to a crawl while the alerts continued. I didnt see a detector on his dash as I passed him...but I still stayed right at the limit. 1/4 mile up I passed a Charger parked off to the left perpendicular on a side street hitting cars with I/O coming both ways. I never would've seen him either, and it's an easy place to be cruising above the low posted limit.

Lovin' the V1...I've included a picture of this AM's encounters.

Yes. It was very informative. I really didn't believe RadarKid when he said that it was dark.
