I ordered a new V1 and got in the 3.872 and tested it on a driving trip in a nearby state then used it to OR last week (65 mph limit and can't put in your own gas?). In the meantime, I sent in my 3,819 to be 'tuned'.
Okay, the 3.819 is back and I thought it was a smaller case than the 3.872 but that is not the 'case' so to speak. Oh well.
They did not change transitors but did a recalibration. It is so much better that I am thinking about sending the 3.872 back since I am still in the 30 days. I was going to use the older one for daily commute and save the new one for the two 4K trips a year.
I've seen the threads here about upgrades after my 3.819 but would welcome any other input about which way to go. Although if I get a bad tax report this weekend then the deal may be over.
