Well I did about 175-200 miles worth of driving today with my new V1 mounted up on the windshield. I was very impressed with its performance. Driving back to Jersey from PA I got nothing on Rt. 80 (possibly due to the fact it was pouring the whole time), just a few door openers once I got back into NJ. However once I got home and was driving around on the local and state highways it really shined. No saves so to speak, today was more of me just getting used to driving with a radar detector in general and observing how the V1 works. I got pegged with laser on Rt. 4 and nearly crapped my pants...I was not prepared for that noise at all hah!. Then later on I was driving back home on Rt. 208 passing the Summit Ave, Colonial Rd. exits where there is a big crest followed by a steep decline. This area is a very common speed trap. I got about an 1/8 mile warning before the crest of the hill with 2 Ka signals. The signals ramped up until I got over the top of the crest when they went to full strength. Two people were pulled over on opposite sides of the road at the bottom of the hill. I continued to get signals from the rear for a good mile after passing both Leos. I'm starting to get used to responding to what the V1 tells me and being aware of my surroundings in reference to what types of signals it is picking up.
Its safe to say I will not be utilizing the 30 day return policy.
At Ace_Racer's request, I have named my new V1...Wallace. Don't ask why, i just thought it fit
