Send a v3.813 to Valentine One tune-up, it comes back working perfectly. However, beside from the nice package, I wonder what has Valentine Research done to my detector.
When you send a car to a small shop for a tune-up, the shop will show you what work they have done to your car and then ask for your money.
When I send an old camera to overhaul, anybody, included Harry Fleenor that I know of, will have a paper to show me what exactly he did and how much he charged for that work.
When I send a swiss watch to the factory for overhaul, the company will show details that need to be work. After the job is done, there are few papers plus a small paper with data like store receipt to show the watch run within Chronometre spec.
Now, why Valentine Research will only have a receipt that only stated "V1 Repair, US45 dollars" in one column?
My questions: What's wrong with my detector in the first place?
How much sensitivity was off?
How did you correct them?
Is it run within the factory spec, now?
Within my letter to send along with the detector, I also have asked V1 tech to replace the plastic lens cover but they didn't, and ignored my request.
