    Default Rear save (I think)

Yesterday on my way home, my rear-K alert started going. I figured it was a cheap-o detector behind me, but it started to ramp up. I slowed down and let a few cars pass (including the G35 I woulda bet had a radar detector - but no).

It was persistent, and then I saw a white car pretty far back and the intensity went way up. I figured "Oh thank goodness I didn't speed up", but as that car approached, it was a Chryser 300C. I turned off the V1 at this point and called my buddy who owns a 300C. He confirmed that they have adaptive cruise control, so I chalked it up to that and laughed about it with him.

And then as I was hanging up the phone, a Sheriff's SUV passed me on the left. And I double checked on Google, the 300C uses LIDAR for their cruise.

So I'm chalking it up to a save, and a V1 specific save because of the rear arrows.

Gotta love arrows. Usually my cheap-o (Cobra) detector falses are Ka. I don't think I have yet had the V1 alert to a K band detector

The only time I've gotten a false like that that I could confirm it was K band. Nice Audi with a **** detector followed me out of my apartment... never had any other alert there still.

When I get a weak rear signal I speed up. I don't slow down unless it starts to get stronger. Make him work for it.

Is this true for the BEL Sti-R also? I get Ka readings inside my condo complex some mornings @ 35.798? I laughed it off the first time but it happened 2X more. The only band Ka here is 35.5. I never get any other bands. Can the frequency be off by .200? I got no arrows so my head is doing 360s when it goes off.
