OK folks, I've had a couple of smaller saves lately that I don't bother to share with you all, but today I had a save that I just can't get over...It's causing a tingly sensation throughout my body each time I think about it. I was driving a one lane highway to see a prospective client in a town around two hours away. All went well on the way with no alerts of any kind. On the way back about 15 minutes in to our commute V1 picks up a Ka band on a low transmission. I quickly check my speed (doing 150KM/h or 93MPH in a 100KM/h zone). I literally had 3 fricken minutes to slow down! I thought at first the LEO was running instant on as the ramp up was being fairly sporadic, which isn't typical of the V1 however about 2 KM up the road was a major speed trap with 4 LEO's pinging traffic with Ka. I passed them doing around 95km/h with a massive smile on my face and continued. The V1 continued to alert to a rear Ka signal for another 2-3 KM thereafter. 150KM/h in a 100 would have been a massive ticket and even a possible court date/license suspension. I don't typically cruise at speeds like this, but I felt like opening up the Eclipse on the wide open highway for a little bit.
This is the largest save to date I have documented with any of my detectors and just had to share. Lovin my V1.
