Default V1's arrows lied to me!

This is actually a semi-funny story to you non zombies out there. I was on one of my pizza runs today, and there was a car behind me. My radar went to full alert, oneto the front. Well, 2 miles of driving with the arrow pointing in front of me I know somthings up. What I then noticed was a cop behind the car behind me. When the car behind me switched lanes, the arrow FINALLY went from front to back. Why was this? Was there more radar reflecting off of objects and going to the front antenna? Why were my arrows lying to me!? One thing is for certian, my V1 is grounded!

My V1 does show me the location of the leaky detector. As they pass me from rear to front, the arrows follow. Before the J, it was a PITA because I didn't know if it was real or now. Ever since the J, no more leaky falses.

Yeah, I've had that kind of stuff happen before, with the V1 pre-pop, definitely PITA. One time, I kept almost passing this guy on the highway and I would get a rear Ka alert just as I was almost past him, so I would slow down some (I never ignore Ka). After this happened a few times it was obvious it was coming from that vehicle so I just hauled a$$ to get way ahead of him...
I still haven't seen the J yet, but I havent had the unit back from upgrade for that long.

Most of the time it has happened to me I have to be in front of the vehicle to get an alert...
Lately when I know that someone has an old leaky detector I give them a few blasts of K band with my radar zapper to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Me too Jim. I use an old modified detector to scare leaky detector owners.

Officer: Do you have any idea how fast you were going?
Jimbo: Funny, I was about to ask you the same thing.
