Owning a V1 does not make you immune to speeding citations or tickets and that is true to any radar detector.

Hmm...if that were true, then I'd be ticketless. Try being hit with instant-on on a holiday when there's no traffic on the road...at all. Don't be dumb about it.

I just gave my FedEx driver a hug! Thank godness she's a woman!

My V1 just came in. Software rev 3.825.

I've got to make a 50 mile trip on the highway this evening so we're going to test it out! Woo Hoo!

I'm going to use it in the default mode (big A) for now as I don't know what to expect. I will be driving past a big mall area that is along side the highway so we'll see what false alerts it will give me....

Makes me just want to go for a drive!

Radar detectors have a tendancy to do that to you if you're into them.

If there is more than one route to where you're going, they also make you WANT to take the more speed-trap infested route

The moment my V1 came, opened the box, put it in the car and went for a spin!

I could not take my eyes off the detector when it beeped... I was so amazed with the arrows!

The places where I got alerts on the X50, now I know where they are! hehe

then a few weeks later.... it just became another great detector

I did that today in fact. But whenever I do, I never encounter any speed traps. :?

On the way back, I took my normal route, and the X50 brapped out K band in a spot that isn't a false alarm spot, and it went full scale for a bit, but I didn't see the cop anywhere. I should have switched the V1 on to get a direction.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
