    Default Idea for "V1 1.9": Color-CODED Arrows

We've all probably seen the mods to color-code the V1's radar band displays, and change the colors of the arrows. I'd definitely like to see VR add this to the next major upgrade to the V1. However, I think that, with some extra programming and a couple more colored LEDs, they could do one better.

The V1 already knows how to "prioritize" threats...LIDAR is a bigger threat than Ka which is a bigger threat than K which is a bigger threat than X and the higher strength alert is more of a threat than the lower strength alert on the same band. The V1 also knows how to point to the #1 threat, by flashing the arrow pointing in that direction.

But what if it could do one better, and identify the band of the greatest threat in each direction?

Let's say that, on the band display, X-band is red, K-band is yellow/amber, Ka-band is green, and LIDAR is blue.

Then, in a theoretical situation, you have 1 K contact ahead, 1 K contact behind, and 1 LIDAR contact ahead. The Front arrow would flash blue, the Side arrow would be dark, and the Rear arrow would light up yellow/amber.

Second theoretical situation, you have 1 LIDAR contact ahead, 1 K contact to the side, and 1 K contact behind. The side K contact is strong and the rear K contact is weak. The Front arrow would flash blue, the Rear arrow would light up yellow/amber, but maybe in this situation, the Side arrow could ALSO flash (yellow/amber) because the blue color already identifies the frontal LIDAR as the top threat, and the flashing would indicate the side K-band as a greater threat than the rear K-band. Not sure multiple flashing arrows, but it's something to consider.

The thing would look like disco lights... and I'd probably rear-end the car in front of me trying to decode what it's telling me.

The strongest and highest-band bogey is the most threatening... I don't need an LSD-inspired V1 to tell me that.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

    I tend to agree
    besides
    we'll see a stealth V-1 before we see threat-based color-coded arrows . .

... and if Mr. Valentin can make V1 to cook quietly pizza on the background, he would definitely kill the "competition" !

You guys and your colors...this thing is a highway detector. You heard ANYTHING, you hit the brakes. There is absolutely no need to see what direction, color, band, or strength it is before hand.

Where's noTe to back me up?

If V1 can get expert mode like the Escorts unit, and keep the price under the Redline, V1 will get my business.
