Finally Ordered a V1

Well I have an Escort SRX system in my 08 Corvette that I previously had in a different car. I find the radar detection abilities are not any where near as good as when I had it installed in my previous car due to the lack of mounting options in the Corvette. The antenna is literally 6 inches off the ground, it totally killed performance. It gives me decent warning on backroads but on the highway it just isn't enough. I am keeping it for now due to its jamming abilities (I've tested it, works decent for the guns around here).

So I ordered a V1 and the remote screen kit. I've been wanting one for so long but now finally decided it was time. I can't wait to get it in! I ordered yesterday afternoon so hopefully it comes in soon! =) I'll be running them in parallel for now.

I may sell the SRX system and buy an LI system at some point. Although I do like the spec display on the SRX. I also like the SRX rear jamming and sensing capabilities. The rear jamming isn't perfect but from the local test day we had it isn't terrible, it would give me a chance to slow down a good bit.

I run my V1 and SRX together when we take road trips in the wife's Magnum. Spec display and arrows make a great combo.

The new V1's 3.872's rock. THey are the best post pop version yet! I am amazed that I can run with Poop on and not be annoyed with falses!

That's interesting. I would have thought on any car, the rear ZR3 shifter would be almost useless. I guess Corvettes are just that stealthy against laser (low lidar profile).
