can't just go by one test since in other videos with constant on Ka's the redline performs just like ci and sti-r. But on very small blips, v1 reigns supreme.

What did you expect from a detector with 2 antennas that is $500 with the name Escort on it?

I don't know, from looking at the redline, it looks like much to do about nothing. The redline might have great detection range against C/O, maybe even better than the V1, but the V1 deffinatly gives you more than enough range to save you, and from most reporting is less likely to miss Q/T or I/O as in this video. To me it wouldn't seem worth it to get more C/O range at the expense of being able to detect I/O or Q/Ts as any detector worth it's salt will be able to detect C/O far enough away to save you. I'd be very interested in seeing more "real world" testing such as at GOL and user review videos later on, but right now, it kinda just appears to be another detector to me.

Redline was point toward Left....And radar source was coming from Right Curb..maybe that was reason it missed first I/O Ka.

Well, I doubt it would effect either unit all that much, BUT, the redline would have the better view, as the radar signals would have been hitting the trees in the general direction the redline was "looking" as opposed to in the trees where the V1was "looking". Once again, I don't think it would have made a huge differance either way.... The STI cought it.... right after the V1.

In the real world, it's not that simple. I've had a total of four encounters while running both the 9500ci and the V1, where one RD detected an I/O shot and the other missed it. The score is tied, at two apiece. The extra sensitivity of the 9500ci gives it an advantage on weak or distant shots, while the V1's better reactivity gives it an advantage on quick trigger shots. So far for me, in about a year's worth of running them together, it's a wash.
