Alright so after reading about the 9500ix locking out LEO's, and the slow reaction time and the terrible ramp up I've decided to get rid of it.
Now the only choice that remains is whether I should order a V1 or wait for the Redline..
The V1 looks good because it has a very fast reaction time, it has the arrows, and is a bit cheaper than the Redline but I have heard that the V1 picks up other RD's quite often and that it is detectable by RDD's (doesn't really matter for now, but I can see radar detectors becoming illegal in the future).
The Redline on the other hand seems to have a bit better range, but not as good of a reaction time to I/O. Redline claims to have less false alarms (as it won't alert to other RD's) but I do not know if this is a truth or not.
If the V1 didn't false to other RD's I wouldn't be stuck on this choice, but coming from a 9500ix, I don't want TOO many false alarms. So I'm asking, how bad is the falsing with the V1? How much faster is the V1's I/O detection compared to the Redline? Will it matter? And I know that some of these answers may not be confirmed yet, as the Redline hasn't been released. Any opinions or suggestions will help though, as I am trying to buy this before my big college move trip in early September!
Thanks for the help guys
