So I was coming home yesterday from Huntsville to Birmingham on I-65 and was highly suggesting (tailgating) that a Honda CRV move out of the left lane to the right. Traffic was fairly heavy with a line of cars behind me waiting to get past the CRV. While I was behind him I get a nearly full blast of Ka, bogey counter of 2 and a rear arrow. The alert lasts maybe 2 seconds. Goes away and silence.
About 7 seconds later I see an unmarked Chevy Tahoe AHEAD of me on the right shoulder with his built in flashers going on his brake lights. Couldn't tell if he was measuring traffic or had just finished with a customer. Probably just over a 1/4 mile from the alert to his position.
So, do you guys think he was the source of the ka alert? If so, why would the V1 indicate a rear arrow and a bogey count of 2? Deflection off the traffic behind me back into my car? I have not had any LEO Ka detection in more than 3 weeks now and starting to fear something is wrong. K detection is fine as I nailed an I/O LEO last night.
BTW, I have POP off and my V1 isn't even a year old yet. 3.872
