Default quiet v1 from trip around to long island

hey everybody, so glad to be back

i took a trip to port jefferson long island (from the throggs neck bridge) all the way back to howard beach and then back up to the bridge. i passed about 6 leo's and my v1 was absolutely quiet.

i dont speed around bends and hills (potential traps) so i didnt get caught but i was borderline speeding 5-10mph over the limit at these traps so im sure i would have picked up something if they shot me with radar just to check my speed. i was wondering if any other forum members were from around the area and are picking up the lihp. i even passed a ny state trooper and got nothing. my v1 is works fine, goes off at all the normal falses that i get in my area. just wondering if maybe they are using something that the v1 isn't picking up... :?:

I would guess that NONE of the LEO's were running radar when you approached and/or passed.

Well you hardly run into radar or laser on Long Island!!!!!! unless you know where to look

The Nassau and Suffolk county police have alot more to worry about besides speeding, also they are well paid from the taxes so there really is little need for a revenue booster

NY troopers only turn on there radar is they visually estimate that you are speeding and once their radar goes on and if you are the one targeted you are dead

LI is a great place with little speedin enforcement

from how fast i was going your correct but i did see a couple folks pulled over and from the way everything was set up (the driver in the car and the leo walking up to him from his car) it seemed like speeding. but anyhow i didnt run into any close encounters from what i believe but thanks for the feedback, any more would be great also

Accurate, but be clear that Queens is NOT part of L.I.
In full logic mode, my V1 didn't usually make much noise between the Throgs Neck and Suffolk (via Northern State).
Nassau actually seems to prefer LIDAR.
